Terms of Service

Temecula Tech (temecula-tech.com) is run by Jason Pieters, a sole proprietor in Riverside County, California ("we", "us"). These Terms apply when you use temecula-tech.com or buy our services. By using the site, you agree to them.

Information on this site

Guides and articles on this site are general information, not professional advice for your specific situation.

Services

We offer security checks, websites and on-site IT help, as described on our Services page.

  • Your quote controls. The scope, price, schedule and deliverables for each job are set in a written quote or order confirmation. If that document conflicts with these Terms, the quote wins.
  • Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe or paid by invoice. Deposits and payment timing are stated in your quote.
  • Breach Watch is a monthly subscription that renews on the same date until you cancel. Breach data comes from Have I Been Pwned and is shared only with you, for your own domain. You confirm you own or manage the domain we monitor.
  • Authorization. You confirm that you own, or are authorized to have us work on, every website, domain, email system, network and device you ask us to check or change.
  • Security findings are advice based on what we could see at the time. They reduce risk; they don't guarantee that systems can't be breached.
  • No guaranteed results. We don't promise search rankings, traffic or sales.

The free website and email check

The check on this site is passive and non-invasive. It loads your public home page and reads public DNS records. Only check domains you own or are authorized to check. Results are general information, not a full security assessment.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site in bulk, try to break or overload it, submit false information or use our forms to send spam.

Disclaimers and liability

The site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived under California law.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these Terms. The date below shows the latest version, and changes don't apply retroactively to a paid term already underway. California law governs these Terms, and disputes go to the courts of Riverside County, California.
